The past year has been a whirlwind, testing my limits both physically and emotionally. Between the challenges of perimenopause, navigating grief, and juggling everyday life, I found myself 15 pounds heavier than I was just last spring. In March 2023, I felt unstoppable—thriving thanks to the BestMe23 program, eating well, working out, and feeling incredibly strong. But by April, everything shifted. My dad's health declined rapidly, and I spent six months traveling back and forth across the country every few weeks to be by his side. Losing him in September 2023 was devastating, and grief took a toll on both my mind and body.
In the months that followed, I found myself in a cycle of emotional eating and lost motivation. My pantry became my comfort, and I struggled to see a way forward. Slowly, though, I've been healing—reclaiming parts of myself, little by little. Now, it's time to come back to who I was before all this, to the best version of me.
So, why am I doing the Body Transformation Program? Because it's time. It's time to find my strength again, to shed what’s been weighing me down—physically and emotionally—and return to being me. And there's no better way than this eight-week challenge, with its focus on five key pillars for success: products, program, education, accountability, and community. I've been in the fitness industry for over 20 years, and I can honestly say this is one of the best programs I've ever seen.
Week 1 – The Shift Begins
After just one week in this program, I’m already noticing profound changes. Mentally, I’ve never been more focused. Seriously—I've gotten so much work done with a clear head, and I've felt calm. No overwhelm, no emotional highs and lows—just a steady, balanced energy. I had read that eliminating glucose spikes can improve cognitive health, but experiencing it firsthand is something else! It’s like a fog has lifted.
One of the most surprising aspects has been how I’ve felt physically. I haven’t been hungry at all. In fact, I ate more food than usual, but it was all in three square meals. I increased my protein intake, focused on nutrient-dense foods, and kept my sugar intake low. I’ve also incorporated two incredible new supplements, CURB and SCULPT, which have been game-changers. (If you want to try them I can send you a discount code!) I didn’t feel the need to snack after dinner—a huge win for me.
I also started tracking my macros using the Fitness Pal app, which has been eye-opening. I’m learning so much about the unique needs of my body, and it's helping me better understand how to nourish myself properly.
Physically, I’ve already lost over 3 pounds, and my clothes fit better. My energy is higher, and this morning, I felt strong as I hit the gym for a leg day. This is just the beginning, but I’m so excited for what’s to come.
Join Me on This Journey
I’ll be sharing my progress week by week over the next eight weeks, and I’d love for you to follow along. Better yet, why not join me? Everything is better with friends, and this journey is no exception. Together, we can support each other, learn from each other, and celebrate each victory along the way.
This transformation isn’t just about weight loss—it’s about reclaiming ourselves. I’m ready to make my way back to the best version of me, and I’m inviting you to do the same.
Let’s do this—together!
