Have you ever felt like you were doing all the right things for your health—exercising, eating well, taking supplements—but still sensed there was a missing piece in your wellness puzzle? I certainly did...until I finally dove deep into the MELT Method, a revolutionary approach to self-care that has transformed my perspective on well-being.

For the past seven years, the MELT Method lingered on the edges of my awareness as my Pilates besties completed their training and urged me to join them. But I was knee deep in "kids and life" and kept putting it off. This year I finally jumped in and am happy to announce I am now a certified Hand and Foot MELT Instructor and have started the long process of becoming a fully certified MELT instructor. I'm in love....with the fascia system!

It is not exercise! It is not stretching! It is not foam rolling! The MELT Method is a gentle self care technique that enhances mobility, stability, and performance and is clinically proven to reduce chronic pain while restoring overall well-being. MELT combines simple yet powerful techniques using specialized soft foam rollers and small balls, that when applied to specific areas of the body, help rehydrate the connective tissue, release accumulated tension, and rebalance the nervous system. It is WHOLE BODY health!

In a delightful twist of fate, Sue Hitzmann, the brilliant mind behind MELT, was actually my fitness mentor two decades ago. I vividly remember following her Crunch Fitness Bootcamp VHS, unaware that the same visionary woman would later revolutionize my approach to wellness. Sue's journey from fitness expert to manual therapist and, eventually, the creator of the MELT Method is a testament to her commitment to holistic health.

MELT has brought me back to me! I'm not only taking care of my body but also nourishing my entire well-being. It's a practice that invites balance, resilience, and a profound sense of connection with oneself. Through consistent practice, I've experienced enhanced sleep quality, increased energy levels, and eliminated the hip pain that has plagued me the past 5 months.

If you're ready to take the next step on your wellness journey I highly recommend the MELT Method. Caring for your neurofascial system is truly the missing link in selfcare. Your body and mind will thank you for it!
